Thanks and Goodbye

Hey folks-

After a little over four years of playing music together, we've collectively decided to move on to other things. Andy, April, Jordan and Nate are all extremely grateful to everyone that's supported us over the years. To all the bands we've played with, the folks that helped us make our records, and the fans that've come out to our shows and picked up our music, thank you. Please keep an eye out for future musical ventures, as we will all continue to play in Seattle and LA. To our friends and family, continued thanks for your ongoing support and love.

Please join us for our final show, Friday August 14th at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard, USA. Most fittingly we will be joined by our friends Or, The Whale from San Francisco - a night not to be missed!

Until next time!

Cheers ~

Sunset & SoCo, our favorite cocktail

Hey there - exciting stuff going on this week and in June.  Our man Chris Estey really does it best, so we'll leave the details to him... thanks, Chris!

*For Super Speedy Immediate Release Right Now For This Weekend!*

Conrad Ford Returns To Seattle To Play The Sunset This Sunday Night!

One of the very best bands I've been blessed to publicize is the richly talented and underrated Conrad Ford, whose wonderful songs like "Vampires" and "Sinner Street" could be heard being played in a mix for the Sound Magazine writers at that magazine's most recent party. (Thanks, Page!) If you love shimmering high quality roots music, their "Secret Army" is never too late to check out, no matter how under the radar it was upon release.

Here's a little report from band leader Andy on their show coming up later this weekend:

Wanted to pass along some updates and happenings...

First off, we'll be playing The Sunset in beautiful Ballard on Sunday, May 17th . It'll be quite a good evening, as we'll be joined by The Crying Shame (

Second, early June brings us out on a lil' west coast tour - San Francisco, Los Angeles, Joshua Tree, and San Diego. For more details, check out:

Emerging from the cold. . . .

Hello hello . . .

Has it truly been 4 months since our last post? We've had quite a lot happening here since our last show scheduled for December was canceled due to the Great Seattle Snow Storm of '08. First things first - Conrad Ford is now a two town band. That's right, so be on the look out for upcoming shows in both Seattle and LA. this spring.

We have also been quite fortunate to have our tunes reviewed in some fine rags. You can check out a review of Secret Army in November's issue of Seattle Sound and also check out our Paste Recommends link from January here. Last but not least, you can check out Three Imaginary Girls January review here. Ain't those gals sweet?

Have you seen the Truth Hits Hardest video yet? Check it out here.

Come by and say hi anytime - and thanks as always.

Hey guys,
Hope you are enjoying the beautiful Autumn. Got a quick update for you, Andy's solo show has been canceled, so no show at the McLeod Residence on the 5th. But stay tuned for November and December, we're still playing Chop Suey on the 23rd, and have also added a show at the Tractor on December 18th. More on that soon - - cheers.

November Dates!

Fords...
We hope you are all enjoying the last days of summer. Conrad Ford is looking forward to Fall... not only for the chance to VOTE! - - but we've got some stellar shows in the works.

First up, catch Andy solo on November 5th at 'Softly Now' @ the McLeod Residence. Art rules at The McLeod Residence, very cool place that not only supports the arts but has a full bar. Win/Win!

Next we have a live in-studio performance at KEXP for their weekly Audioasis show. This will happen November 22nd at 6:00 PM. Check it out, but even if you can't catch the broadcast, you can always check out their streaming archive.

Last but certainly not least, we will be opening for Holly Golightly at Chop Suey on November 23rd. She's out with the Brokeoffs supporting their soon to be released Dirt Don't Hurt. Sounds like one hellofa night.

Thanks - our name is Conrad Ford - and we approved this message.
