November Shows!

Happy November everybody...

We are looking forward to a great weekend here in Seattle. We play the first half of a double header when we come to play live in the KEXP studios this Saturday (11/22/08) at 6:00 PM PST. Click here to listen in via the web - or, for those in Seattle, on the dial at 90.3 FM. Thanks to the folks at Audioasis for having us on, we love our KEXP.

Second half starts Sunday, where we will open for the lovely and talented Holly Golightly at Chop Suey. Doors at 8:00, $10 gets you in the door. By the way you don't want to miss the opener, E-Burg's own, Star Anna. She and her band are sure to please.

Thanks all - hope to see you out there soon.

Show update

Hey guys,
Hope you are enjoying the beautiful Autumn. Got a quick update for you, Andy's solo show has been canceled, so no show at the McLeod Residence on the 5th. But stay tuned for November and December, we're still playing Chop Suey on the 23rd, and have also added a show at the Tractor on December 18th. More on that soon - - cheers.

November Dates!

Fords...
We hope you are all enjoying the last days of summer. Conrad Ford is looking forward to Fall... not only for the chance to VOTE! - - but we've got some stellar shows in the works.

First up, catch Andy solo on November 5th at 'Softly Now' @ the McLeod Residence. Art rules at The McLeod Residence, very cool place that not only supports the arts but has a full bar. Win/Win!

Next we have a live in-studio performance at KEXP for their weekly Audioasis show. This will happen November 22nd at 6:00 PM. Check it out, but even if you can't catch the broadcast, you can always check out their streaming archive.

Last but certainly not least, we will be opening for Holly Golightly at Chop Suey on November 23rd. She's out with the Brokeoffs supporting their soon to be released Dirt Don't Hurt. Sounds like one hellofa night.

Thanks - our name is Conrad Ford - and we approved this message.

TRACTOR TAVERN w/ Eef Barzelay and Or, The Whale

Happy Summer, Seattle. We have been enjoying some down time, but we are really looking forward to getting back on stage to open up for two fine acts. The historic Tractor Tavern in lovely Ballard will host us on Saturday, August 2nd. We will open the night, followed by our friends from San Francisco: Or, the Whale. They've got great tunes, lovely harmonies, and they guarantee a good time. Clem Snide's own Eef Barzelay will round out the evening - looking forward to his set, it should be great.

Hope to see you out there - cheers.

with Firewater at Chop Suey

Hello hello...
Hope you are all enjoying some sun out there. We are looking forward to playing some great shows this summer. First up is June 3rd at Chop Suey with much loved Firewater. They have a new album out called The Golden Hour (Bloodshot Records). It is amazing, for more info on them go here.

We will be opening the night, starting at 9:00. It will be good to get back up to Capitol Hill, we haven't played Chop Suey in a few years.

Later in the summer we will also be playing with our friends Or, the Whale at the Tractor. More to come on that. Stay tuned and take care of each other.

Our new album, Secret Army is now available on Tarnished Records!!! You can purchase it from CD Baby, Saki Store, and on I-Tunes.

Many thanks to Tarnished for putting it out, to Chris Duryee for helping engineer, and to Tucker Martine, who lent his magic to the mix.

We made a little documentary about recording and working through demos for the album. You can watch it here.

2 Days of Demos - Video

Hey y'all,
We are in the thick of a soggy winter in Seattle. Hope the new year is off to a good start. In prep for the new album we cozied up in the small house and recorded some demos, check out the mini doc here.

Keep your ear to the ground, we'll be playing a show at Easy Street Records in February, and looking forward to the CD release in late March. Hope to see you out there - stay warm and dry.

The winter ages you well ~
